THE DIRECTORS’ FORUM: THE SIX SENSES OF THE DIRECTOR
A series of intensive three-day projects designed to animate, articulate and illuminate the director's craft.
Explore know-how, intuition and embodied practices in a safe and intimate atmosphere.
Whilst the whole project runs over a period of 9 days, it actually consists of three distinct 3-day projects:
1. Friday 9 – Sunday 11 April
2. Tuesday 13 – Thursday 15 April
3. Friday 16 – Sunday 18 April
Follow 1, 2 or all 3 projects, each of which offers the rare chance to work with other directors, to share the methods, approaches and skills of professional directing practice and to explore questions, issues, genres, obsessions and secrets via a range of practical, participatory and presentational events.
A longer and more in depth practical investigation of the craft, technique or ‘intuitive sense’ of the director with one guest director of your choice and a small peer group.
