Aimed at Directors, General Managers and Board Members of Arts Council-funded arts organisations, this seminar will address the current critical legal and financial challenges the arts are facing.

Why this seminar?
As we know, our society and economy has faced a series of unprecedented financial challenges. The arts and cultural sector is not immune to this, many of us have seen revenue from several sources fall in the past two years. This situation will challenge organisations to look at their business model and plan carefully. This seminar is aimed at addressing the critical legal and financial challenges that you may face. We have secured the services of two of Ireland's leading law and accounting firms to provide user-friendly information for arts organisations to assist them plan at this challenging time.
Who should attend?
Your CEO/General Manager or most senior person charged with finance and legal matters in the organisation, in many organisations, an Artistic Director will assume this function, also your Board Chairperson or a senior board member. This seminar is likely to more relevant for organisations which employ staff or have issues in relation to taxation, including VAT.
How much does it cost?
The seminar is free but places are limited to 2 per organisation and are confined to organisations who are funded by the Arts Council for logistical reasons.
