About the Next Stage

The Next Stage is a wonderful, all engrossing programme spanning more than two weeks aimed at performing artists of all kinds.  18 people are selected to take part in a programme of master classes, talks, physical workshops and performances to broaden and deepen their experience of theatre from conception to performance.  The intention is to expose the group to a rare selection of world class art during the Festival, to create an opportunity for engagement with the visiting and Irish artists through workshops/ interviews/ Q&As and to encourage future collaborations between the participants through the experience as a whole, including intensive group time led by Veronica Coburn.
