Theatre Forum offers members a variety of sample contracts for engaging directors, set designers, lighting designers, photographers, administrators etc. These are not negotiated contracts with trade unions as Theatre Forum is not an employer’s organisation. Members are free to adapt and amend the sample contracts in consultation with colleagues.

We also offer members a sample contract between a venue and touring company and have a number of fact sheets on setting up theatre company, dealing with insurance, tax issues etc.
