The Next Stage 2008

Following the enormous success of the inaugural 2007 programme, The Next Stage returned in 2008 spanning the entire 17 days of the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival.

The Next Stage is a structured artist development initiative designed to deepen participant’s engagement with the Festival and their exposure to the international artists visiting the city.

18 theatre practitioners from all disciplines will be chosen to participate in an intense programme of performances, talks and workshops led by some of the world’s leading theatre makers. Participation is by application only.

It begins the evening of Wednesday September 24 and ends Saturday 11 October 2008.

Key information:
Dates: September 24 - October 11 [except Sundays]
Times: 10am - 6pm daily with performances most evenings.
Participation fee (including 17 performances and all workshops and talks): €250
