Profile:

Crooked House develops new work and stages classical theatre texts. We have premiered work by leading international playwrights and emerging young Irish writers. The company is a permanent ensemble of theatre makers - Darren Donohue, Anna Swords, Nick Devlin, Karina Power, Keith Burke and Jillian Bradbury. We have a large youth programme called Kildare Youth Theatre that stages new work and tours it natioanlly and internationally. We also run a children's drama workshop called Crooked Mice that developes new work with children and stages it locally.

We have an extensive theatre outreach programme with a panel of ten experienced actor-facilitators.

The company is resident theatre company in Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge and is part-supported by Kildare County Council. Detailled information and a popular Actors' Noticeboard is available on our website.
