The Back Loft is the multipurpose space at the back of La Catedral art studios (formerly a clothing factory), available for hire to theatre/dance companies for rehearsals, auditions and photocalls, workshops, intimate performances and showcases in an informal setting.

The Back Loft is also open to collaborations with theatres, touring productions, dance, circus and theatre festivals that need to avail of a row space with an out of time atmosphere and industrial features.

Size is 1800 sq. ft. (160 sq.m) and features old pine timber floor, industrial heating, great natural light, a sink and tea facilities, intercom, basic theatre lights/sound system, vintage mismatch seats and tables (on request) and an old wall piano. The space also comprises of a 25 sq. meters alcove on the side which is particularly suitable as a back stage, changing/make up room, storage, office and production space. 24/7 access, secure nearby car park, sole tenants.
