YOUTH ARTS PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT WORKER

Young Irish Film Makers (YIFM) the Kilkenny based youth film organisation is seeking to appoint an Youth Arts Programme Development Worker to develop and co-ordinate all youth creative programmes within the YIFM organisation.

The person appointed will support the YIFM team to plan, implement and evaluate a wide range of youth based film, theatre and drama training and production programmes.

Applicants would be expected to have a proven track record of facilitating youth arts workshops and directing youth theatre productions. Experience or interest in film making with young people in a youth arts setting would be an advantage. Experience of preparing policy and funding applications, budget management and administrative ability would be required.

Applicants must have an ability to work as part of a creative and technical team, as well as on their own initiative, and have a flexible approach to all aspects of the work
