STAGE MANAGER – Anna Livia Dublin International Opera Festival
September 2008 will see the Anna Livia Dublin International Opera Festival enliven Dublin City once again, offering exciting new opportunities for Arts professionals.
The Stage Manager will have overall responsibility for the stage, will work closely with the Production Manager and the Director and will supervise two DSMs and up to two ASMs. The Stage Manager will have proven experience in Theatrical and / or Operatic Stage Management. An ability to read music is desirable but not a requirement as the DSMs will call the show.
Anna Livia Dublin International Opera Festival exists to promote and enable international and national accessibility to the lyrical arts, providing a platform for popular opera through a diverse programme of shows and events that stimulates the cultural life of Dublin. Its aim is to create unique operatic productions for the Irish stage.
The 2008 festival runs at the Gaiety Theatre Dublin from 7th-14th September 2008 and our offices are located just off St. Stephens Green.
This is a temporary contract to run for 4 weeks commencing with rehearsals on 18th August 2008 and ending on 14th September.
