Production Manager – Project Arts Centre

Project Arts Centre, a multi-displinary arts centre in Dublin, is looking to appoint a Production Manager.

The Production Manager has overall responsibility for the production of all aspects of Project’s Artistic Programme.

The Production Manager is responsible to the Artistic Director and Visual Arts Curator for all production aspects of Project’s activities and events. S/he is responsible to the General Manager for all financial aspects of the role, Project’s capital development programme and the planned maintenance of all equipment and the technical installation at the Centre.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Liasing with incoming companies and artists to plan and to deliver technical support.

  • Briefing of Project Staff and Management Team on all issues relating to the provision of the technical support function within the Centre’s programme.

  • Allocation of duties to all production staff and overall supervision of production staff (full-time, part-time and casual) both on-site and off-site.

  • Monitoring production budgets and keeping the financial management team informed of changes and developments in same.

  • Assisting with the management of all legal requirements with regard to staff including Working Time, Equality and Health and Safety legislation.
