Part-Time Web Management, Create

Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts, seeks to appoint a part time web manager.

Our mission is to provide advice and support services to artists and arts organisations working collaboratively with communities of place and/or interest

The exploratory processes and practices of collaborative arts demand different approaches to traditional definitions of art, artists and arts development.

Create responds to these demands by offering a range of services for artists and arts organisations which include Professional Development, Learning Development, Project Management and Consultancy and Projects and Initiatives that support and develop collaborative arts.

Hours are 10-1, one morning a week in Create offices.

Key tasks include:

Strategically develop and drive web-based activity for the organisation

Upload material and maintain organisation website ( www.create-ireland.ie)
on a regular basis

Contribute creative ideas to development of site features and start up build and maintenance of future programming site

Knowledge of the arts is desirable; experience of website management and knowledge of website maintenance using CMS is essential.

Rates: €400 per month.
