Music Network - Music Capital Scheme Manager

This new, part-time position has been created for a 3-year period, with dedicated funding from the Arts Council. The successful applicant will be required to:
1. Manage the delivery of the new 3-year Music Capital Scheme, and a once-off supplementary scheme (2008 only) funded by the IRMA Trust for the acquisition of rehearsal equipment for youth and community groups
2. Assist in a parallel action research programme exploring the capital needs of the music sector in Ireland, from high-end musical instruments and equipment for the use of musicians of a professional performing standard, through to the capital needs of community based music and non-professional groups and ensembles, covering all musical genres.
The Music Capital Scheme Manager will work closely with Music Network’s Chief Executive and other programme managers, in the delivery of the Music Capital Scheme. He/she will also assist the Arts Council appointed research consultant in carrying out the parallel action research aspect.
