LEARN AND EXPLORE MANAGER
The National Concert Hall is one of the State’s most important cultural institutions presenting over 500 music-based events each year and providing a home for the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra. The proposed redevelopment of The National Concert Hall will see three world-class auditoria built on its existing site in Dublin city centre, making it one of the leading concert halls in the world. The Learn and Explore Department, which is responsible for all education and outreach work at the Hall will be integral to these future plans.
The National Concert Hall are seeking candidates for the position of Learn and Explore Manager. The key responsibilities for this exciting role will include –
· To devise, plan and implement a ‘Learn and Explore’ strategy for the National Concert Hall
· Direct and oversee the work of staff in this department
· Implement communications plans for projects specific to this area
· Budget management
Working with the marketing and planning teams, the ideal candidate will have a third level qualification, and at least three years experience of working at management level in music, education or the arts. They will have excellent organisation and leadership skills, be a strong communicator and have a high level of literacy, computer skills and enthusiasm for the sector.
