Casual work for technician - Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge

Casual job description (provisional)

To assist the technical manger with his duties.
Carry out maintenance checks on a regular basis.
Work with the technical manager with to ensure the security of equipment and building.
Assist were necessary with get in and get outs of performances.
Occasionally operate for some shows, performances.
To ensure that all relevant areas are kept clean and free from obstacles.
To deputise for the technical manager where appropriate.
To carry out any reasonable request from management of the arts centre.
To comply and enforce the arts centres H&S policy

The ideal candidate would have a basic knowledge of stage lighting and sound set up, be available to work unsociable hours and weekends.

There would be at least two weeks notice of intent to work.
