Dance Ireland is the trading name of the Professional Dancers in Ireland Ltd. Established in 1989 as a membership organisation dedicated to the promotion and development of professional dance, we assumed the management of DanceHouse in late 2006. DanceHouse is a six-studio purpose built dance rehearsal venue located in the heart of the north-east inner city.

Dance Ireland seeks to employ a bookkeeper for 1 day per week.

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities will include:
• Raising invoices and account statements
• Payment of invoices
• Recording transactions on MYOB
• Preparing bank lodgements
• Bank reconciliation
• Fortnightly payroll (for 7 people) on Thesaurus
• Petty cash
• File management
• Assisting with other bookkeeping tasks as required
• Assisting with the preparation for the annual audit

Skills/competencies required:
• Working knowledge of MYOB & Thesaurus
• Excel & Word
• High degree of accuracy
• Organised approach to work

Experience:
• Relevant qualification in book keeping/accountancy
• Minimum three years’ experience in similar accounting/bookkeeping role is essential

Salary:
Salary will be pro rata in the region of €30-35k per annum commensurate with experience
