ABOUT US >
Theatre Forum acts as an advocate on behalf of the sector, lobbying for improved funding and conditions. We also aim to build capacity among member organisations, and provide a means of exchanging information, sharing skills and networking..
Through practical expressions of these aims, Theatre Forum has become an indispensable and powerful voice for the performing arts.
The membership of Theatre Forum is made up of practically all of the theatre production companies and theatres, as well as arts centres and festivals nation-wide and some opera and dance companies. It includes local authority arts officers and freelance arts consultants amongst its affiliate members. A list of members can be viewed here.
With a clear mandate from its member organisations, and with Arts Council funding since 2003, Theatre Forum is now making a strong and practical contribution to the environment in which the performing arts are created, managed and enjoyed in Ireland.
